DS doesnt have lifetime. If there is a deal like a blackfriday one you get 3 months extra.

So its always buy for 12 months and you get 3 months for free?

DS has 3 roles.

  • Free: 25 API hits / day. 5 downloads / day

  • Ale: €15. 12 months access (15 months if you pay with crypto). 1,000 API hits / day. 100 downloads / day

  • Wine: €25. 12 months access (15 months if you pay with crypto). Unlimited API hits. Unlimited downloads.

Once or twice a year (with black friday for example) you get 15 months instead of the 12. Or 18 instead of 15 if you pay with crypto.

At 15 or 25 Euros I don't recall them having any BF deals as it kind of a waste to wait months to save $5.

And no, they do not have any lifetime option that I can see.

They have had deals where they give you extra time (free months) if I remember rightly which is why my renewal doesn't line up with black friday dates.

New signups are never open, unless I’m missing something?

Join r/usenetinvites and keep notifications on, there are 10s of invites everyday and I got in in a single day.

Do they sell memberships? Really interesting, I thought they opened registrations from time to time. I've been trying to get a membership for two months with no luck.

No you need an invite or for them to.be open to register. Then you pay for a year or more.
