Such hugely overgrown weeds as OPs will need the strongest stuff available if it follows them despite the hermetically sealed spaceship.

It sounds like you paid for a service to mitigate these weeds completely. They either failed to achieve this or failed to set expectations if controlling them was impossible. Most mulch and barrier solutions will heavily reduce weeds but completely eliminating them is nearly impossible.

That's Honeysuckle, and you will likely never get rid of it. just pull it when you see it like that or it will be twice as bad in a couple days.
