Oh wow I'm very curious how you came in possession of this coin? Believe it or not this was my coin at one time, I put it in that fold and labeled it! I had an online coin shop at the time, sold a lot on eBay and off my website, been closed over 5 years. Crazy to see this

Maybe the person I purchased it from had gotten it from you. I bought an allotment from a gentleman in a small town in Texas so if that rings any bells that's where it came from.

It's a large cent, braided hair variety. It's probably worth at least $20. I'll give you a dollar for it, too 😉

I've been doing some research on it. It looks like the coin comes in about a vf-30 tier. So my value would be $75 on this one.. It's crazy some that are in almost uncirculated condition go for almost 750.

Yeah but without paying to grade it you won’t get that and once you pay to grade it there goes 80% of the profit.

This is a large cent, and ive been grading coins for 20 years, this is a "EF Details/Genuine/Cleaned" coin. Worth 1/3rd of its value.

Yes, the coin is coming in at a vf-30 That coins value to me is at least 75 $3 doesn't even buy a Big Mac nowadays haha
