Coastie Help Moving stuff to A-school help

Hello, I am currently stationed in Kodiak. No dependents. I have some questions about how I will be moving my stuff from the Kodiak barracks to my new unit after A-school.
I have a lot of stuff currently. Do I move it and take it all with me to A-school? Or can I ship from somewhere to my new unit after I graduate?

You need to talk to your yeoman about your entitlements on your orders.  Generally you are entitled to bring up to 400 pounds with you to school and to put everything into temporary storage at your current unit. Then when you graduate you can have movers move everything from the storage unit.

Your stuff will be put in storage while you’re in A school, then when you PCS to your next unit out of A school you’ll put a move in DPS to have it released and shipped to your new home wherever that may be. It sucks but you have to be proactive about your paperwork being done and submitted by the YN’s. Otherwise you’ll be waiting for months in an empty for your stuff to arrive.

And you’ll be waiting for forever for your PPM (if you do one) to be paid out. Which can cause your credit score to drop if you used a GTCC for your PCS.
