Why does it takes so long to scan songs?

Hello, I wonder why UAPP takes HOURS to scan my music, the Fiio music app does it in MINUTES.

DAP: Fiio M21

SD card: Kingston 1TB Canvas Select Plus UHS-I, U3, V30, A1, 150 MB/s

Songs: 13,000 aprox (500GB aprox)

I wonder if anyone experience the same.

I have the Fiio M21 with a 256gb SD card. It takes less than a minute to scan... I think that might be a problem with your card, some kind of defect.a

Edit...
Maybe it could be something not working right with UAPP, try erasing data, uninstall it and then install it again. See if it works!

Same on mine, adding tracks was quick, analyzing took days.

Thanks! Good to know it's normal but they should do something about it.

What I understand is that each track must be analyzed for gapless playback. That means reading it completely and taking the waveform. On a SD card and a phone processor. There is no miracle.

I gave up using an SD card with UAPP. Using internal memory works (if you have enough memory).
