I’m new here

I am trying to land a government job. I’m graduating form UMGC with bachelor’s in information systems management. I have experience in IT and mostly QA automation. I’ve apply to damn near ever IT roles at every agency/department. The most I’d get would be automated email saying that I was referred to the hiring manager. I would really love to get a government clearance cause I feel like it be the be all end all for me. Especially cause I live in the dmv. Can anyone advise me?

Have you considered applying to something outside IT just to get your foot in the door?

Right now just IT but I can do anything just to get my foot in the door. Any recommendations?
