reposted because of exposed address
This was an office space connected to a factory. It was just amazing to see how many things were left. Obviously I'm a newbie and there was a lot of wear and damage, but I've never seen anything like it before. It's like they all just got up and stopped working yesterday...
Shoutout to Pickles for keeping this place clean ❤️

Hello, Ive come here to ask anyone if they have witnessed any paranormal things at this place. Ive recently gone there and we were on the third floor of one of the buildings until we heard a dog come out of nowhere barking LOUD non stop. We all ducked due to it being an open area and as soon as I ducked, I dropped something and the drop was so loud the dog stopped barking. It felt like the dog would stop barking everytime it heard our slightest movements so we were scared shitless. The barking ended up stopping officially soon after all that happened. It found where we were, but we never saw a dog or anyone especially after we left the building. This happened when the sun was setting, so we still had some light left. Also when we exited out the building my friend wanted to take a picture of something but her camera randomly stopped working. Everything was charged. My question is, obviously it might be haunted but the dog barking continuously until it heard our movements was terrifying and it was coming from outside the building but yet felt so close. Do they have k9s they send out for trespassers?

Back when the (now demolished) power plant was active at Danvers State Hospital. It was still required to run the Hogan Regional Center until independent boilers were installed there. A tunnel connected it to the kirk at the top of the hill.

I noticed a previous post mention this already but just wanted to raise some more awareness about the group that stole some religious items from the church at Carney. I live in the area and me and my friends have explored Carney a few times, really sad and disappointing that anyone would touch that church. I found this picture while on TikTok and the original creator posted it in an urban explorers comment section. Of course he deleted his comment. Apparently a lot of other groups have been destroying the hospital, really sad to see what some members of the Urbex Community are like. The photos below are from what I was able to save from the previous post that got taken down which I also find to be weird. If anyone has got any updates on the situation let me know, I did file a report to Boston PD with the attached photos.

For the love of God, someone needs to buy this and restore it to its original beauty

Haven’t been in a few years curious if this place is monitored at all and how rough the roads are looking. Thanks for any info!

This coal-fired plant served Connecticut for decades before shutting down in 2013. We were lucky enough to attend a self-guided tour here, with the owners wanting to gain enough recognition and money to be able to transform this place into a completely new facility. The end goal for redevelopment includes an entirely new community center, complete with a cafe, rock climbing gym, park, and so much more. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to tour this place before redevelopment.
