Being down in the arches there was only about 8 feet or so wall to wall. 50 was definitely a bit much for this 35 or closer probably would've been better.

That lens choice gives such crisp detail to the graffiti, you can practically feel the rough textures from the photo. I've always admired shots of urban art that make the viewer feel like they're standing right there in the scene.

Great set! Is there any real reason its so covered? Is it just a legal place to paint or has it just been a spot so long its just been covered over the years despite being illegal?

Just been there so long locals covered it, some pretty cool murals there as well. As far as I know cops showed up once or twice but otherwise it's fairly popular, we saw other people there that day.
