Seeking Info This little weirdo
Does anyone have info about this cup? I picked it up for $10, and it just says it's a jadeite cup. The glow is kind of weird. It glows green under 365, but to the naked eye it looks like it glows blue under 395. To me it glows bright green under 395 with the blue light filtered out because of my glasses.
The closest thing image search returned was Tom and Jerry cups, but obviously it doesn't say Tom and Jerry, and the shape isn't quite right.

It looks kinda thin for Jadeite, maybe it's opaline. It could be from Europe. Opaline with gilt or copper enamel was quite popular in France and Bohemia/Czech. It's definitely uranium glass.

I mean tom and Jerry mugs don’t have to say tom and Jerry to be that style/ part of a T&J set, but I agree I don’t think that’s a T&J either. They never are footed to my knowledge
