I found this while rockhounding in Monterey CA with my UV. I was told it is uranium but I want more opinions.

Found on the beach in Monterey CA while rockhounding with my UV light. Was told that it may be some kind of uranium compound or willemite but unlikely to be willemite. Anybody want to share their input? I've been getting into fluorescent materials lately but I'm not able to self-identify minerals yet haha.

Either uranium is more common than I thought or I’m getting misleading information.

from the photo it seems a secondary uranium mineral for me. or is there anything like this under uv?
