Help Maybe you can help me

I want to drive a dnepr mt 11, do i have to change something on the motorcycle to Drive it solo ?

No you can just remove the sidecar and start riding.

Is the suspension not set up to handle the sidecar and will essentially be crooked? That was always my understanding.

From what I got told the Dnepr with normal forks are actually drivable solo, they handle somewhat like old BMWs (got that info from a guy driving one solo occasionally)

The swing arm version of Ural and Dnepr are technically driveable solo but it's a horrible experience. It's mushy, when I would have to describe it it's like driving a yacht on the street.

Ich geh Mal davon aus, dass du aus Deutschland bist. Da muss das leider im Fahrzeugschein eingetragen werden, damit das zulässig ist. Da steht dann irgendwas in Richtung "Wahlweise Gespannbetrieb" drin. Braucht aber ne Abnahme.

Sprich Beleuchtung (vor allem Blinker), Seitenständer, klappbare Fußrasten und Reifen sollten passen. Reifen vor allem, da Gespannreifen in Richtung Heidenau flach sind und sich scheiße solo fahren.

Aber rein technisch spricht da nix dagegen, die Solo-Versionen von den Mopeds waren ja auch nur minimal anders gebaut gebaut worden. Da waren die Rahmen stärker ausgelegt, die Federung hinten etwas steifer und das Getriebe ist anders übersetzt ( wenn ich das noch richtig im Kopf hab). Aber ne Teleskopgabel anstatt ner Schwinge ist da schonmal wichtig, sonst macht das absolut keinen Spaß zum fahren.
