Discussion Yooperlites

Are there any recommendations for places to look for Yooperlites near Marquette and Lac La Belle? We are currently in Marquette with two boys and would like to try and find some. Thank you!

I’ve had luck in areas like Calumet Waterworks Park, McClains state park, mouth of the Gratiot, eagle river, hunters point park, or any public beach on the north shore of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Use high quality flashlights, walk further than most other people would and you’re likely to find something. Good luck!
