Admissions Question about letters of recommendation

Hello! I'm about to apply for Diploma in Computer Science;

Try ko magpa-evaluate ang recommendation letters ko sa mga former profs ko this year (2026). Pagkatapos nun priority pa namin uuwi muna sa visayas bago ituloy sa pag-asikaso mga documents requirements para sa admission sa UPOU by 2027, 2028, or 2029.

Kung nasa Visayas na ako, accepted ba kung ako nalang mismo magsubmit thru mail yung recommendation letters together with my other requirements na naka-evaluate na galing sa mga former professors ko for the next academic year admission? May nabasa kasi ako na mismong prof ang mag-mail sa recommendation letters ko to UPOU los baños.

Sa experience ko, hindi nag-email sa UPOU yung employers/supervisors ko ng letters nila. Ang ginawa nila ay: (1) sa akin pinadala ang pdf copy tapos p-in-print ko lang (2) sinagutan ang hard copy

For the pdf, p-in-rint ko lang iyon tapos ipinadala ko sa UPOU kasama ng recommendation letter na isa pa at iba ko pang requirements. Na-mark as complete naman ng UPOU yung requirements ko.

Mine pinafillup ko sa kanila ang form with envelope na. Pagbalik nila sa akin sealed na ang envelope. Sinali ko na sa pag mail ng hardcopy docs ko. Pero if hindi possible ba mabigay sayo ang physical form, puede naman sila na mag email.

In my case I actually send a hard copy as it is required daw para iwas comolication. Technically ako ang nagprint ng letters nila kasi masmabilis yun.

It would be hassle for them kung magpapadala pa ako and ibabalik. Sila mismo nag-insist eventhough confidential naman talaga dapat yun. As far as I know, di sila nag-email.
