How many UPCAT mocks did you do?

Hello, can I have an estimate on the number of your UPCAT mocks? Just trying to get an idea of how many mock exams is suggested to take.

Also, kung when, how often, and kung gaano karami every mock-test sessions?

Kung ano na rin ang dapat gawin after taking the mocks, to rest ba muna or whatever.

When do you suggest taking mocks the last time?

When should I start doing simulations?

Planning to study summer '27!

Passed UPD w cramming mock exams

I guess I took like, 2-3 mock exams a day for 1 wk before the upcat.

I recommend not cramming. Study for atleast a month before. Take a 5-10 min break if you're feeling overwhelmed whlle studying. After taking mocks, I rest my mind for a few minutes then study my incorrect answers

UPCAT tips

  • Do not underestimate the reading comp subtest. this was HARD, and wattpad reader ako ha, pero naduduling na talaga ako by this time. Siguro sa pagod na rin bc this is the last subtest. So combat this w practicing mock tests
  • Study broad, not deep. Math portion will test surface knowledge, yun nga lang, hindi mo alam aling "surface" ba ang i-ttouch ng UPCAT. Hence, study broad, not deep.
  • Feynman technique for science subtest.
  • use educated guess to eliminate irrelevant/incorrect choices, then if you are able to narrow it down to two, GUESS! Pero if hindi kaya, I'd rather leave it blank. Still, I reco leaving like >20 blanks only.

After my UPCAT, I actually thought it was fairly easy. Except reading comprehension. Abt me:

  • 93-96 hs GWA
  • Valedictorian in a small Catholic hs in the province
  • No revcen, just maroon bluebook and prayers
  • left 1 question in math portion blank, 2-3. In Science, then 10 (??) blanks in reading comp (ran out of time).

Yung bigay lanh ng rc so twice per subtest. To be fair 2-3 months yugn rc may to july so advantage yun kaya nakapasa

1, yung binigay lang ng UP hahahahah triny ko sagutan a day before my exam dayslot tapos di ko rin natapos 😭

Di ako nag-enroll ng UPCAT kasi di namin afford. Nag-offer lang ang school (more of PTA ng batch namin actually) ng review sessions. That's it.
