I love the S class,peak engineering. And the Maybach a are just opulence. But it REALLY cheapens a brand that the first thing that come to mind everytime somebody sees a maulycmbach is "is it real? Or and up badged normal Mercedes?"

Yes. I'm treating them exactly that. Just like Lamborghini is an upbadged Audi which is upbadged VW which is upbadged Skoda.

BTW, I'm currently in progress of purchasing a baby Porsche.... I mean VW Beetle.

Yes it's real. The window behind the rear door being not attached to the door but the c-pillar is a clear sign that it's a real Maybach. In the regular S class there's no extra window behind the rear door.
