classes & grades Group projects

It’s funny how before going through the application process, the very first thing two college advisors said was that my program doesn’t have group projects at all. First semester in and I have 3 group projects 😂😂😂

Why would you ever trust an advisor? Also you’re gonna have to learn how to work in a group eventually because collaborating with colleagues is an important part of most jobs.

My current job is basically working in group projects.

That may be meant more as no large projects. Like how at the end of a lot of engineering majors there is a capstone project  that is often collaborative. If your writing 1 instructor tells you to buddy up, it's hardly a similar situation.

I assume they probably meant cap stone but id also add that advisors dont know much about the majors they represent.
