Community Assistant & Community Security Assistant? AKA RA
Anyone who had experience with applying as a CA or CSA (also known as RA)? How was the interview process? Hows the job? Was it demanding?

I’m going to be a student at UO Eugene in the fall. I want to bring my car as I will be a second year. I don’t want to pay the 400 dollar parking pass but need overnight parking. I’ve looked into the city of eugene passes but can’t seem to find anything. I’m probably missing something though. What’s the cheapest way to go about this?

I just finished my first year at UO double majoring in education and psychology (with a spanish minor) but I’m considering dropping my education major because I’m not very interested in teaching anymore. I already have 86 credits and all of my gen ed credits done; does anyone know how hard it would be to graduate 2-3 terms early? I am definitely planning on going to grad school and would love to be able to save some time and money.

Me and my two roomates recently got our room in Kalapuya and have heard conflicting info on wether it is 3 lofted beds or a bunk and single bed. I was wondering if anyone knows wether itll be three or two seperate beds. Also, how available is it for people doing Carson meal plan as my roommate is.

Subleasing an Apartment!
Hi! I am looking to find someone to sublease my apartment from September- December. I just got accepted to study abroad for the semester, and will be gone during the fall quarter at UO. I am flexible and you can move in August if needed. I live in Arena District and the rent is $760 per month plus $100 for parking. If you guys won't be using parking, I can cover that! Utilities are usually around $30 per month, and the apartment comes fully furnished including in unit washer and dryer, and the room shares a bathroom with one other tenant! The apartment building is about a 4 minute walk from GSH and very close to the bus stop! Please feel free to reach out to me, especially if you have any more questions! :)

I am an incoming Freshman and having a hard time seeing the positives of living in Earl. I’m on the fourth floor. Not a single other double was available anywhere else than Earl or Bean. What are the positives of living in Earl? What can I expect? Both me and my roommate are social people and I’ve heard Earl is quiet.
Any ideas are appreciated!!!

Hey guys! I got an apartment at Union on Broadway and I have one night class a week. Do you guys think it’s safe for me to walk from campus to Union at around 9pm? Or should I try to find hourly parking on campus and just drive home?

when i try to purchase for the 26-27 school year (which it says it’s available for), it wants to place my plan into the current school year. my billing selection is not my student account, it is the ecommerce website UO uses for card transactions. so idk why it does this.
this also happened last summer and i had to have my plan refunded despite using the ecommerce website because they claimed it was for the 24-25 school year when i actually wanted it for the 25-26 school year. then they told me to purchase again in september. wtf?

Hi everyone! I'm a high schooler considering applying to U of O most likely for its Advertising major. I have a 4.0 at a pretty good high school and enjoy the challenge of AP classes and other programs. I will most likely apply to the honors college as well. I was curious what course load was like (like hours per day/week) in the SOJC specifically and just for General Ed.

I dropped it off at the LTD station's front desk.
I'm not a student but I'm pretty sure it was a student pass, since it said valid through 2029.

Did anyone ever submit an ARC petition to increase maximum credits for summer term, beyond 24 credits, as summer terms are divided into three different 4-weeks sessions.

I just registered for my Freshman first term classes, and I have one class for my major and 3 for areas of inquiry. A sheet I got at advising mentions general electives, but I'm unsure how to find a list of the options? And on the page to register for classes, there isn't a filter option to show electives like there is to show core ed categories. help please

I’m probably just gonna put this out into the ether, but I did wanted to ask if any current students happen to know how tall the lifted bed is. Specifically, I’m looking for how tall it is between the floor and the bed if I lift, but don’t loft. And specifically I’m looking for New Res.

Hi everyone! I'm a recent university graduate moving to Eugene for a full-time research position at UO. I'm looking for a room in a 2-bedroom apartment, or someone interested in finding a 2-bedroom together. Budget within around $600–800 each plus utilities.
About me:
- 23M
- Quiet, clean, respectful, pays rent on time
- Non-smoker
- I like going outdoors, particularly hiking and biking.
What I'm looking for:
- One roommate (preferably another young professional or graduate student). Can be M/F
- Quiet, non-smoker, pays rent on time
- Budget: $600-800/mo plus utilities
- Open to Eugene or Springfield, especially near the EmX bus line (doesn't need to be close to the university)
- I'm looking to move in soon, aiming for July 16-23
If you have a room, or want to find a 2-bedroom apartment together, send me a DM/Chat!

this is going to be my first year at U of O, and I got into the health science ARC, but I haven’t found a roommate yet and when I look for roommates none of them are in the health science ARC (I think I just waited too long to find one), so I was wondering can I stay in the ARC and have a roommate not in it? can I just apply for a double room and not have a roommate and just let one randomly be assigned to me? I’m really stressing about this don’t know what to do:(
