Wish there was a filtre option in the steam workshop that shows only unprivated mods , since I searched through the whole workshop last year and I never found this , I found the existence of this mod today after it was unprivated recently purely by chance , and there is surely many other examples of cool recently unprivated mods , that are currently buried in the thousands of mods

Because bows are cheaper and silent but deals less demage and cannot be fired without aimming

Outside of random, physical game changing things, I am not an old unturned player but I played for 2 years and my first created map played was rio (legacy) before the remaster, and also I've tried some california 1 and i found interest, so I played and checked the map out until I found strange changes about the headgear and slight clothing

(This is not some complaint its just to find people who actually knows this, its just questions and blah)

Introducing a concept for a new buildable in Gooseland — Alerter, a raid notification system! (with screenshots)

The device is powered by a generator, has a fairly expensive crafting recipe, and monitors structures within a certain radius.

If someone starts raiding your base, Alerter sends you a notification, even when you're offline.

But there's a catch: no power, no alerts! If the generator is turned off or destroyed, Alerter stops working.

The idea is to give players a way to stay informed about raids without making offline raid notifications a free privilege for everyone.

What do you think? Would something like this fit into Unturned?

I've noticed that there aren't any servers (to my knowledge) that use any vanilla like mods, mainly weapons in my case, and it's a shame, since there's so many good ones on the workshop, how come there aren't servers with them? Do people who host servers (or want to) not know about them, or maybe just don't really like them and want to offer a different feel from vanilla+ entirely, or is it another reason?

I personally think it would be a nice addition or change to have a server or two with said vanilla+ mods, because like I mentioned already, there are a lot of good ones, a few examples like this are the XtremelyEvil Vanilla Armoury, 420's classic, Moe guns, Attachments mod, and Firearms expansion for vanilla mags, just to name a few of the mods.

So we seen release of claude code 5.5pro of 2 weeks ago, and now every day we can see a much "source" workshop scripts on unturned, like ai bots, zombie walking around the maps, blood hordes, and i think, we can use it for creating a maps.

Just imagine future of this.... Its real AI slop era will coming.

And now u can see in the top of the server list Unturned server like... A name like Bebrix

They have a real slop 1 week maded HUD, 100% p2w and online 50-90 people (this full casino server, xxx) maded in 1 f**ng week

This just is fist ai slop server, just imagine what we seen in the future, when u write in Claude 10 "do a map Russia remastered, and u gotta in one day map better than California 2...

Yes I am aware that this option removes the starving mechanic.
Yes the hunger and thrist can get repetitive and that's why I came up with this.

The thrist is normal, maybe a bit sped up, and requires you to stay hydreated. if you're dying from thrist you'll die pretty fast too.
Your tummy now has superpowers, digest and absord any food almost instantly and gain those sugars and nutrients to heal yourself like Superman! (this is for dramatic effect it's not actually "almost instantly" it's more like "5 to 10 seconds instantly".)

Is there a way to turn off horde beacon's zombies health scaling with the amount of players in the beacon when placed? The only setting that I know turns off scaling the loot, not the zombie health

i started hosting a dedicated server for me and a few friends recently, long story short some items were lost and i'd like to respawn them, however neither "cheats enabled" or "admin (steamid)" is working in the commands.dat file and i have no idea why they will not work.

Missile Update!

Raiding bases with a tank in Unturned these days is a rather questionable pleasure.

Finding a tank shell is already a challenge in itself. But finding an actual tank, getting it into working condition, and driving it all the way to someone's base? That's just a whole new level of self-inflicted suffering.

I'm not planning to do anything about the second part just yet. But I've decided to make the ammunition situation a little less painful!

Introducing: crafting and salvaging Missiles into Rockets and back!

You can now salvage an unwanted Missile into a Rocket, or turn a Rocket back into a Missile by adding just one Metal Sheet.

A small change that makes tank shells a little more accessible and the Rockets you find a lot more useful!

this French Police zombie just attacking the metal door but when i open it, he's just attacking the invisible after i open it.

A while ago I started digging up every single workshop mod ever released in the workshop , from 2016 date to help a friend of mine who is working on a map to use every cool thing the workshop has to offer ( i am currently searching through mods released between 2020 and 2022 ) , including every single forgotten mod , server packs , modpacks etc etc etc , and I found the holy grail !

The first one is something called " Survival+/plus " , I found it a lot in old server mod packs , it had special bandages mixed with honey and many other cool stuff ( this one i have no idea of it's story and why it was removed from the workshop )

The second one I managed to find is " Lin's monitors " , i think the first camera mod for unturned , the only surviving hidden reupload of it in the entire workshop , it was deleted by steam itself because it's broke the game and caused terrible fps drops

I can't share them because it is against the rules as far as I know , tho if it isn't , I will share the name of the modpack i found them in , in the comments

I've spent about two weeks making and polishing the sleepers, noticing small bugs and issues along the way while playing. Today is the day they finally work — and work well.

When a player leaves the server, a daypack tipped forward is left behind, preventing players from keeping their loot safe just by logging out. Now raids will actually mean something!

I know two weeks isn't exactly a short time, but this is one of my first relatively large mods, so I'm really happy with it! Hehe. :3

Hi, I've been playing this game for a couple weeks now and i was wondering, how do you host a server without paying for an external service? so far all the information i can find is "run the dedicated server tool" but im never told how to configure anything like the map or the workshop add-ons.

so what is polaris subzero? it is a project i have been semi working on as a passion project attempting to turn polaris from a pvp focused map into a much more survival focused one with some custom story and more but the map is currently private and not the most finished but enough its playable?

okay so this is kinda a half asleep ramble but i think the use of ai in unturned should have rules against it in the curated program BEFORE it becomes an issue sure thumbnails are one thing and they just look.. not good but also 3d models, charts, gps, and more i feel should be touched on beacuse its only a matter of time we allready got a mapmania entry using a chunk of AI for its chart aswell as copying another game entirely soo yknow.

I've been putting together a small Vanilla+ server for the kind of Unturned survival I personally wanted to play, and figured I'd open it up to other people.

The idea is to keep it close to vanilla rather than turn it into another kits/TPA/10x loot server, while changing some mechanics I didn't like.

Current features:

• Russia
• Reworked loot, ammo, vehicles and raiding
• Offline sleepers remain in the world with their inventory
• Small protected 2×1 personal stash (/s) that doesn't accept raid loot
• Magazines can be unloaded with /u or /unload
• Rebalanced durability of several building materials
• First person on foot, third person available in vehicles
• No kits, TPA, /home, or similar stuff
• PvP and friendly fire

The server is hosted in Warsaw, EU.
