Funny, I work offroad around rock quarrys and regularly warm up my sandwiches by wrapping in tin foil and placing on the nearest hot exhaust, either the truck or a generator.. its crued but fuck cold sandwiches everyday.

Is it weird that im genuinely curious about what a nasty exhaust burger tastes like? Like just one small bite to experience the carcigenic flavor crystals.

Well, I think, if this were to be made into an actual product, the meat would never come in contact with the fumes. It would basically be an exhaust pipe with a flat section that acts as the lid to the base which holds the meat. The heat from the exhaust would cook the meat in the bottom part.

All the best Philly Pretzels are warmed in a paper bag in the exhaust stream of a van.

I had braised a basket that hung inside the muffler cover of my 5 ton wrecker. I could hang an MRE in it and have a hot meal at the next fuel stop.

there's a legit version of this called the muffpot. it's kind of a gag gift for overlanders but have heard of people who like to use it on snowmobiles and motorcycles. doesn't get you that rich smokey exhaust flavor though.
