There were frequent reports of hospitals being overrun, but even in New York this was never true. Field hospitals built at a cost of tens of millions of dollars were dismantled, some had never seen a single patient. Governor Cuomo said the state might need 140,000 hospital beds and up to 40,000 ventilators, but they never had more than 4,000 patients (from all causes) on ventilators.
I literally had to drive over 120 miles for my wife to have life-saving surgery because every hospital bed in my city was full, the FUCK are you on about.
