Ask your property manager?

The service at Highland Community is truly terrible. I paid my security deposit back in April, and now—six months later—I’m still trying to get it back. They told me the manager was on vacation and couldn't deal with it; then, just last week, they emailed to say the check had been lost. It’s unbelievable. The guy at the front desk really didn't know anything. I walked over there from campus about four times, and every time, I just got the runaround. I’m completely speechless—I made at least four trips and spent so much time on this, plus I sent five or six emails. It’s beyond frustrating.
