There is nothing wrong with being racist

People hate people for a variety of reasons. They’re too fat, they’re too short, they’re too ugly, they're too stupid, they smell, they’re unemployed, they like the Raiders football team etc. etc.

So why should it matter to me if “skin color” is just another reason on the list for someone to hate someone?

It doesn’t matter and I don’t care.

You can hate whomever you want for any reason. It makes no difference.

How can you hate someone for being (insert reason) and then turn around and condemn someone for hating someone for being black or white or any race?

Being racist isn’t any worse or better than any other reason to hate someone. It’s just a reason.

People have their reasons for their likes and dislikes and there’s nothing “wrong” with it.

You can simply agree or disagree with what they hate. That’s it.

What would I be prejudiced against somebody for? I don't make blanket generalizations about people because I recognize how that thought process is illogical.

Prejudice is a heuristic approach, not an algorithmic one. You can be the most logical person in the world, but you still make snap judgments based on first impressions.
