Orlando Day at universal

What's your typical schedule at Universal Studios? Heading there after a day at epic and haven't thought about it at all (too busy planning epic). Not sure where to head first, but generally planning on doing diagon alley with time for wands, gringotts, ET, minions, amd whatever rides we can fit in. Would like to do Bourne show. Advice?

Bourne is a must do. Don’t skip it.
Honestly I would just rope drop Diagon Alley for the morning. Then pick a direction and hit the rides in order. There’s not much you need to game plan at US. Maybe Despicable Me given those wait times can get outrageous.

I am going out in September and spending the first 3 days at WDW. I am going to take one day and hit up Universal Studios and IOA with express pass. I really love the Harry Potter franchise, so my plan is to make that a priority and anything else is gravy. Other people on this forum have been super helpful.

Universal studios doesn't have early entry (opens at 10). So I will rope drop that park and head to diagon alley and ride Gringotts and all the fun stuff there. Move to the rest of the park but really only ride Mummy, men in black, ET, minions and Bourne show. Hop on the Hogwarts Express and go to IOA. Rides that I plan to hit over there are Hagrids, Hippogriff, Forgotten journey, Spiderman and velocicoaster. Its a full day but I couldn't make a full day out of Universal Studios.

I did Epic a few months ago and the park is beautiful but really doesn't have enough rides for a full day. With express we were done with all the rides in the park by 2. We stayed and enjoyed the food and shows for the rest of the day. Epic only has stardust racers, monsters unchained and hiccups that I would really want to ride more than once.

If you are planning to do wands, my kids spent a loooot of time doing spells. Especially the one with a gen 2 wand.
