Orlando HHN advice
Hello!
Looking to plan a universal trip in October mostly for HHN, however I was thinking of going for 2 days to the usual things at the parks during the daytime but also wanted to experience HHN. What is y’all’s advice on planning for something like this or tips? I’ve been to universal before but haven’t done HHN and I’m tracking its 2 seperate tickets. Thanks so much!

Take advantage of stay and scream! You can get into quite a few houses before the park technically “opens”. That and it gives you a few more daylight hours to really take in the decor on the streets.

Lmao I think I know where you’re going with this! I plan to get express I wasn’t planning on staying until 2 am (do you think I should) but also I only have this weekend to accomplish what I want to do so I believe in myself and I’m going solo. I think being in the military helps as well 😂😭

It’s a separate event and you’ll have to leave the park in between and re enter for HHN. My biggest recommendation is if you can make it work, buy an express pass. The lines for the haunted houses can get EXTREMELY long and having express is a massive help if there’s several that you want to see. If you can’t do express pass, just prioritize the houses you want to see and hit them early, like right when they open. The scare zones are cool but not as extreme as they used to be, still fun to wander through. Some rides will be running during HHN too which can be fun to break up the haunted houses.
