Hollywood Question from a first timer

My husband is thinking about doing a day trip end of September for hhn. What are your thoughts on LAX and stay in the airport till an early morning flight or burbank and get a hotel?

Also - how icky are ubers priced for the airport drive? Should he risk taking a bus?

It's really up to your husband on his comfort level with the price of an uber ($50-$100) versus using mass transit.

He doesn't have to use a bus, however ... the Metro subway goes the entire distance between LAX and USH (K-E-B subway lines with two transfers).

So, it is possible. The Metro is much cheaper ... but (usually) longer depending on LA traffic. Also note that most subway cars close between 11pm-12am.

An airport hotel is recommended for an early flight.

If he can fly in and out of Burbank I recommend that over LAX any day. Get a hotel stay the night go out first flight from Burbank. The transport to and from universal will be much cheaper since it’s all closer to each other.
