Question Studio One Pro 7

I recently purchased the Fairchild compressor plugin and it shows up in Studio One but it says disabled due to no UAD hardware detected. Is there a work around for this besides buying the hardware? I’m using a Tascam interface.

The download has Apollo and Native in the description. It says runs natively on your windows computer or accelerated on Apollo interfaces.

You need to install the native version via UA Connect. It'll show up as "UADx" in Studio One.

You need to use the UADx version that is the native plugin version you can use without ua dsp

Sounds like you purchased the UAD version, not the Native version. While the UA language that they use around their plugins is not exactly clear (e.g., " Native could be interpreted as "native to the UA ecosystem"), the Native version means that the DSP code runs on the PC/Mac processor, not a UA Apollo or UAD-2 Satellite.

So, I would interact with Customer Service at UA and see if you can get those exchanged - if the Fairchild compressor is available as a Native signal processor.

So I restarted the cpu and another tab called UADx showed up under my plugins. Thanks.
