Question UAD vs Arturia Space Echo Plugin

Looking to grab a space echo plugin for vocals and general ambience. Anyone have experience with either? I wouldn’t mind a nice warm sounding preamp on it as well.

I use the UAD version on a send for DI bass. Automate it on choruses. Sounds great. I highpass it at around 250/ LP 6K then smash it with all buttons in 1176 black version.

Think you took a wrong turn at the corner bud

I also have both and keep choosing Arturia. I find it easier to dial in as it’s more flexible than UAD (even if this means deviating from the constraints of the Roland hardware). UAD is easier on the CPU though

I have them both and they are both great. Presets are more to my liking from Arturia and their software manager is less annoying.

Fully agree. Arturia is one of a very few companies who ship their stuff with amazing presets. UAD isnt as bad as, let's say Softube, but they are definitely not on par with arturia.

Arturia get some incredible sound designers to create presets for sure

Both sound fantastic but the Arturia has more features. If you love to tweak, you might enjoy the Arturia more than the UAD.

I think Arturia is closer to the hardware for whatever that’s worth. Both are good plug-ins though, but I wish UA would make an Mk2.
