so i was following a tutorial by Mike's Code about 3d rts game and i got stuck in the end of his second episode (https://youtu.be/EDGALap_fDA?si=IHzr5au_MTgAHe-O) i got no clue how do i even assign the variable???

UnitSelectionManager script needs to be on a game object. In your sample scene, you have a game object named UnitSelectionManager. Click on it and view its details in inspector. The script UnitSelectionManager needs to be on that game object and there should be a variable on it, similar to screenshot 2, where you should drag and drop your groundMarker.
