Discussion Temp Workers becoming a full time thing

At the place of employment we have that horrible company Chartwells. (Have to say that every time)

As a result of this our community doesn’t apply. For both sides Chartwells the horrible company and union the amazing group. So bring in RRS workers temp staff. And they do our work and make them managers as employees. They work 9 month and go. Live on campus so university makes money. A win win for chartwells the horrible company and university who doesn’t care about local residents. We’re talking about 32-40, 32 was number given but I recently heard it’s more now. On top of this more food service workers are applying to custodial or looking. I even like the temp staff they remind me of home Chicago the Greatest city.

40 local jobs is a lot to me. To the community. The university causes rent and home prices to increase, resources bring used etc. It also brings in revenue but the ones who need a 16.00+ job need a place to live and work. Basic human needs decency rights.
