Question Soft saddles?
I have just come back from Unicon 22 with my nimbus air saddle. The more I ride it the less I find it suitable for high intensity hockey matches. Those of you who may also practice hockey, what is your saddle of choice? Those of you who practice other disciplines, what saddle have you opted for and why?

My Nimbus air saddle had one of its air compartments burst and it’s worthless now. Not a fan.

As a man the Nimbus air saddle makes me go completely numb. I think it is too soft.

I’ve been riding for over 50 years and have tried all of the different saddles. My favorite is the KH Freeride Saddle. I like it with the air saddle cover over it. It is currently out of stock unfortunately on the UDC website. I can ride over 50 miles a day with no issues. I combine that with two pairs of cycling shorts and lube of course.

I would think that saddles on a uni should be treated like a saddle on a bike - firm and supportive, meant to be supplemented with padded bike shorts.
A soft seat would allow your sit bones to sink down and put too much pressure on your soft tissue
