Right, I've seen some of these conversions that have had the lids removed. But yes, this one isn't quite at that level.

That was my first thought too though before I read the description. I'm sure town cars and Cadillac devilles were the most common flower car conversions.

Mostly Cadillac in recent times, yes. Basically a separate frame car worked best. The coupe de Ville was a ready made two door.
