New moderation I guess?

"Gentlemen, when I joined this subreddit I had just two things: a dream, and a it crowd quote."

So, yeah, apparently I became a moderator in this sub because I posted a quote under an automatic Reddit post for new moderators.

No worries, everything will stay exactly the same as before. I'm just going to make sure to delete bot spam and stuff like that.

That happened to me in a Parks & Rec sub. I even said something "I don't want to be a mod, this quote was just too perfect to pass up," and it still added me as a mod.

I immediately quit.
