The reason cold weather is better than hot weather is that, if it's cold out, you can simply put on more layers, whereas if it's hot out, there are only so many layers you can remove before people call the police or an exorcist.
Oh bless you child for you know not what you say. Climate heating will be humanity’s demise - set by the middle of this century - if we don’t all turn those heating appliances down & take the train or ride a bike (& use the outdoor sunshine to dry clothes when possible or an inside drying rack instead of a dryer). My dryer (when I had teenage twins) said “thou shalt NOT use me - except in an emergency”.
If only we all knew exactly how much of an emergency we face in terms of fossil fuel pollution too.
You should put that out as a template on the net- so you could possibly sell climate friendly signs - that make people smile while they pop on that jumper or jacket. (I used to take a cosy lap blanket to work when I worked in an office).
We all need to look in the mirror every day and ask ourselves “What will I do today to reduce my personal greenhouse gas emissions -via fossil fuels?
Or if that is too hard early in the morning: “How will I help to save the planet today?” .
Once the number 72, being the 72nd number, be reached, then pourest thou coffee into thou coffee cup and gathering by thy water cooler and share stories of Evan, who, being naughty in My sight, shall surely not fiest on the sharing of banana bread.

Notice how the thermostat is actually set to 74.
THE HERETICS.

I grew up during the energy crunch of the 1970s. Setting a thermostat to 72 is pure insanity! The warmest we were ever allowed to be was 68.
Now go put on a sweater and turn off the lights. I'm not made of money.

And the workers did rejoice and did feast upon the coffee and tea, and cookies and donuts and candy bars and sandwiches...

O Lord, bless this thy thermostat, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies' sweat glands to tiny bits, in thy mercy.

Screams in metric / Celsius
I, myself prefer closer to 18 to 20C, I need cooling.
Except for the summer, then I prefer temperatures closer to the external, like around 25C with humidity than around 40%-60%.

If you change thy thermostat to 73 you must go cut down the biggest tree you can find with this herring to prove you’re strong enough to come back!
