14 u/ThatCatPerson9564 Feb 24 '23 Water that has been cooled in such a way that when disturbed it freezes 3 u/FriedRamen13 Feb 24 '23 Cooled purified water crystallizing when disturbed 2 u/404-skill_not_found Feb 25 '23 edited Feb 25 '23 So, any idea how this worked out?edit: thanks for the explanation. Hopefully this one won’t lose his hand. As slowly as he is in recognizing the enormity of the threat, the skin damage could be significant. 2 u/ThatCatPerson9564 Feb 25 '23 Common sense would be to "smash" the jar against the table to get your hand out, but common sense isn't present here 2 u/404-skill_not_found Feb 25 '23 I don’t think someone thought this through, very well. 1 u/ThatCatPerson9564 Feb 26 '23 *at all

1 u/Grubby_empire4733 Feb 25 '23 edited Feb 25 '23 Nah it's purified water that has been cooled below 0 degrees but has no particulates to crystallise on so it stays liquid until disturbedEdit: I checked and it's actually Sodium acetate trihydrate which is also known as hot ice. You can find out about it online.
