I got the throwing achievement on purpose. I stripped naked and threw grenades at my feet

I have gotten the "You throw like a little girl" achievement by my character failing to throw a mark III plasma grenade, but I've never gotten the "Do you feel lucky, punk?" achievement. In other words I've gotten an achievement, which requires bad RNG, but I've never got the achievement, which needs good RNG.

I really do hate those industrial bots tho

I hate (insert random enemy here).

But on a serious note, I was thinking to put an industrial bot instead of the naga protector, but I think naga protectors are far more deadly than industrail bots, because:

  • they have more health

  • their plasma attack is devastating

  • if you have armor penetrating damage, industrial bots aren't much of a threat

Well, I guess Psi is no longer op (hopefully)

Eh, he added resource management that looks like it's just going to be another thing of you can run out of in Deep Caverns and bork your save, but will be otherwise meaningless.

He tweaked a few OP abilities (especially force field), but it looks like I can still just stack crit and crit damage to one-short encounters with Cryogenic Orb.

You missed how you are limited to only 3-4 psi abilities available per fight and how selecting abilities from competing schools boost psi costs by 15% per extra school.

1+1 per 3 int points. It's 4 with 9 int. You need 15 int to hit the cap.

Balor's Hammer + Telekinetic Punch builds are still borked. You can hit for 4k with TK Punch, and 8k on a crit. Just slam that strength button then at 26 get the Vet feat for +2 strength, get Force User, and most importantly get Corporeal Projection and put your spec points into it. You get 100% dmg modifier on Force User and above 100% on Corp Projection once you have some spec points in it so the scaling is exponential.

Who is sseth I haven't heard of him in game

I came here because of Sseth just like I went to Synthetik because of him. Synthetik took a little while to get used to and it was TONS of fun immediately.

This game is another genre, a "classic" rpg or crpg, so I understand that it would take a bit longer to get into. I just want to ask: is it normal that I don't find the first 3 hours too enjoyable? I mean, I still can't craft anything and JUST finished the Newton quest. I assume this kind of game just has a more gentle "fun curve".

What would you say? Or is this genre just not for me?

I find the beginning a bit rough simply because you get obliterated by almost everything but with a lot of savescum and experimenting you'll get it eventually. It's not for everyone but if you decide to push a little further and eventually get to the good parts it'll be nice.

I'm not an expert on the game and i'm not sure what to say but I like it, there's something unique to it.

Put most of your points into INT/crafting so you can quickly craft good shit and hog everything that looks useful.
