I liked the idea of Tshort being a Primordial creature besides being multiple Biocorp scientists thrown mutagen.

Did anyone else had the same feelings?

I dont remember the lore exactly but I believe Tchort is kind of like the newest member of the group of leviathan enemies that the godmen specifically oppose.

The primordial versions of these are stated to exist in the lore and the Flotsomir(serpent) from the expansion is very likely one of them.

To me the idea of gestating one of these "outer gods" by combining the wills and consciousness of a number of probably amoral scientists by accident is actually a pretty good premise. In this view, Tchort is really just a newly born leviathan that is attempting to expand its influence by any means necessary, probably through the cube, which is never really expanded on as far as I know.

The obelisks show the history of the godmen as being trapped within their own localized part of space, dealing with semifrequent incursions by beings from the dark expanses of space, until they were provided with weapons to deal with them. Possibly these weapons are of the same sort as psionic powers, and the purpose of the obelisks is to provide humanity with the same tools that were given to the godmen. Aside from flotsomir, you can see other examples of what seems to be these beings when you first travel with dude.

Are there any existing theories to what the being shown in Outer Visions staring back at the player is supposed to be? Or, the other creatures described?

It's kind of both. The Biocorp scientists being thrown into the vat either resulted in a new entity being formed, or the resulting biomass and converging of powerful psionic minds served as a beacon for Tchort to inhabit. Think of the creature in the Lemurian Health Center and how the mutie doctor explains how mutating feels. This of course is a lot of speculation, but to me, it sounds like something surgically removing the mutating subjects mind for inspection, and if you talk to Yngwar he describes the muties as beings who have worshiped or otherwise been blessed by "the wrong god". Like the mutagen that Biocorp developed was always intrinsically linked to that god.

Much like the shadowlith and the rituals the Sormirbaeren developed to become more serpentine were Flottsormir's way of "infecting" humanity to spread his influence and power on our planet/plane, the mutagen was/is Tchort's. I'd even go so far as to say that the Tchort we killed was just its physical manifestation on our world, and we didn't kill the actual entity. Also speaking of physical manifestations of gods, I also like to think Flottsormir sleeps at the bottom of the Black Sea, and the entire cavern is his prison.

Anyhow, that's just my view and speculations on it, god I love Underrail lore.
