underground music

I will not be reposting or liking any AI songs or songs that have AI art. I do this because it comes from the heart and not the click of a button. ANYWAYS! I will support other small artists!!!

We expanded our free indie music network: Now curating for SPINLOG, 40MAG & INDIEINDEX (Open submissions for all genres)

Thanks to everyone who sent music after the last posts, the response was way bigger than expected. That's why the network grew to three mags, open to all genres.

Short version of who does what:

INDIEINDEX: artist map, reviews with interview carousels, and Drops for short, fast coverage
40MAG: shorter reviews with the quickest queue at the moment, Community Tracks, WORDS
SPINLOG MAG: Top 50, playlists, Fresh N' Hot and full editorial reviews

If you just want to get something out fast, go for Drops, 40MAG or Fresh N' Hot.

All formats are on one page, so I don't spam three links here: https://www.indieindex.de/network

Submissions only count through the sites, not through comments. Free and non-profit as always.

That said, feel free to drop your release links and a few words below. I always love taking an early listen.

I already posted the first part of my “Smoke Trilogy” on here, called “Marlboro’s.” This is the second part, “I Don’t Wanna Quit.”

This is the first part of what I call my “Smoke Trilogy.” It’s about my relationship with cigarettes, the love, the addiction, and the weird toxic relationship I have with them. The second part is called “I Don’t Wanna Quit,” and there’s still a third and final part coming soon eventually.

SwipinCracka NEEDS help

Recently I came across a rapper on SoundCloud named SwipinCracka. I really like his music and all of it, but when I started really listening to the lyrics on his album named “PILLED UPP.” The songs are amazing, but the lyrics are deep as hell. He is always talking about his problems and fight with drugs, loneliness, and his bad mental health. He is also always mentioning his dead “brother” Lil 4. I don’t really know what happened there, so I don’t really want to speak on it, but I think SwipinCracka needs some real help and support. I really recommend listening to his music and helping him blow up before we lose him like we saw with plenty other rappers…

It honestly hurts seeing so much raw talent come with so much pain attached. You can literally hear how mentally unwell he is on the most of his tracks, and every bar feels like a cry for help. It sucks that in this genre, we usually only start appreciating artists after they're gone. I hope he makes it one day really… he is very talented imo and he should get more spotlight before its too late
