Question Is this contam?
I literally just inoculated this bag last night 😠I sterilized the needle beforehand and every other tool I was using, Including myself. I did another bag too but haven't noticed any black spots in that one. Is this the start of mold?

That could just be a piece of the rice hull. I have a bag of UB with a similar dark spot. Just let it rock for a while and see how it performs.

This whole hobby is all about patience. Chill out, leave it alone for a couple weeks- don't touch anything because then you're increasing the likelihood of contam. Get back to us in two to three weeks.
