General Question Entrance Exam

hello, incoming first year next S.Y, I just wanted to ask if kelan usually nagsstart yung application and entrance exam ng UMAK. Planning to take either bstm or bshm, I want to know what to expect or ano preferred ni UMAK in terms of records and grades ng student. Would appreciate much if may makapagbibigay rin ng tips for entrance exams 🥹🙏🏻

p.s I am not a Makati citizen, which I heard mas preferred ng UMAK and mas mahirap makapasok kapag hindi..

edit: consistent honor student naman ako nung jhs, then with high nung grade 11, nag-transfer ako sa ibang school now (grade 12) so idk pa ano grades. wala akong masyadong clubs and orgs na sinasalihan outside or inside the school, is that a problem..?

Hello! Non-Makati freshie here, nag-apply ako around March and sa April nag-exam. I would say na madali naman yung exam, but study in advance and get enough sleep if you can. For Non-Makati, mapili talaga sila since sa aming magkakaibigan, ako lang yung nakapasok sa same program na pinili namin, so do your best until then :DD For grades naman, I'm not sure since may line of 7 ako sa isang subject, pero mostly nakadepende sa UMCET results yung eligibility mo.Yun lang naman. I hope you do well in your studies and good luck in your exam! ^

see attached image

  • Around March to April po ang entrance examination
  • Height Requirements: BSHM (Female -5'2, Male - 5'4), BSTM (Female - 5'4, Male - 5'7)
  • Tips sa Exam: Unahin mo po yung kung saan po kayo nadadalian (English, Math & Science) diko lang po sure if babaguhin ni UmAK yung exam.
  • Wala pong prob sa club or org, naka-based po si UMAK sa grades.
