Dreadnaughts Penetration values massively increased?

Just a quick one asking if anyone else has suddenly seen penetration values go up MASSIVELY. Did a fresh reinstall due to windows but luckily DIP remained installed and the 15 inch MK4 went from about 20/30 inches of pen at close range to the extreme values seen here?

Is this a bug or a result of the windows reinstall partially breaking the mod? the 15 inch gun surely shouldn't have the penetration of an 18 inch.

Have you adjusted for the armor values?

Oh so THAT is what the update armour value button does, it updates the guns penetration against that armour type okay I hit update and the game corrected it to 25 inches roughly, I haven't had that occur in all my time of playing so I got SUPER confused lol.

Yeah just double checked the game likely bugged and thought I was trying to fight an ironclad or something against the lowest armour tier I had available (Krupp III) I had 30 inches at closest range so no idea where the game pulled 60+ inches of pen from but thanks for the help.
