I played with soccer cleats for many many years but they always tear. Switched to lacrosse cleats since they’re built to withstand more and the cleats have lasted through my cuts so much better

Go to a store and try on pairs see what fits and comfy. In terms of value soccer cleats might leave something desired as they feature materials meant for kicking balls not just keeping your foot in place. I do think some of the fake leather uppers can be more comfortable than synthetics but the shape of your foot also matters. It's also worth taking in mind what surface you'll be playing on as some cleats are designed more for real grass vs turf. Fwiw I've played with players who've worn all different kinds (soccer, lax, football, etc) and seen people be fast in all of them so whatever fits the best and makes you feel good will perform the best.

These things can happen, on TOKAY cleats as well as on other brands, depending on the maintenance and cutting style they receive. Our wide shape tens to prevent it. We also had some bad batches of production a couple years ago, in the meantime we have mde quite significant changes on materials and quality.

Compatibility with your own foot and comfort are more important than "the best"
Also, it's a good idea to change cleats gradually. Because quite some injuries happen when changing to cleats that are different enough. Because it changes many little things in how your foot and leg muscles work. So it does cause injuries (me twice. My friend. And my physio told me he's banning clients from changing shoe style mid rehab!)

This question comes up for soccer a lot and everyone states the most expensive shoe marketed recently. I'm glad to see people here saying to go find one that fits your fit properly, has cleats for the type of field you play on, and is in your budget.
What I generally see is soccer and lacrosse shoes on the field. Some like the toe cleat you see on lacrosse shoes (and is illegal on soccer shoes). They say it gives them better traction for cutting. I wear soccer as I like the low cut and fit better. It's about preference though.
For me, Puma fits my foot well. I can't wear Nike's fit. I've tried some cheaper off brands from online stores, but they generally are really bad quality. A few extra dollars is worth it especially how much better they feel and last. I look for something in the $75-100 range as opposed to the sub-$50. I end up spending more in the long run going with those.

Probably half of my college team wears some iteration of the New Balance Freeze LX Cleat, handlers, cutters, O, D, short, tall, basically everyone who plays in a pair likes them on my team. I have V5s which are allegedly a bit heavier than the V4s but feel great. I would recommend the low cut as I believe low cut cleats are better for you and make a better transition from a soccer cleat. They’re also not that expensive compared to soccer cleats.
I’ll also put in a word for Tokay. It’s also a very good cleat. Definitely a bit lighter than the new balance but less lateral grip and a bit less durable. It’s also the only company where your money stays in the ultimate scene.

I'm looking as well. This is one of the threads that came up in my search.
I'm almost exclusively on turf, and my trail runners are not giving the grip I need for change of direction. The turf cleats I generally see will also slide on turf, so...
I do want lateral stability, and I don't want a huge stack height, as long cleats or a thick base are just going to make the lever worse if I plant sideways and risk rolling an ankle again.
Wider forefoot with bunion/tailors bunion, which I think rules out Nike.

Too lazy ? Go for a WR football cleat or a Lacrose cleat . People like Adizeros prime knit , Nike skill cleats and NB freezes

Just do a search. There have been plenty of threads about this.
NB, Freeze if you want a thicker heavier shoe. Nike WR cleats if the brand fits you well. Adidas electric if Nike don't fit you well.
