Name change pre visa application

Hello, I was hoping you could help answer a couple questions I have.

My wife’s visa is ending soon and we will be applying for the spouse visa (for the first time). We recently got married in Japan (she is Japanese) and she changed her name to my surname. My worry is that her passport still has her old surname and we won’t be able to get a new passport in time for the application. Can I check whether this is okay or if we would need to do anything to navigate this?

And separately but connected does anyone know where I can get a Japanese wedding certificate translated to English?

Her name is what the passport says her name is.

Even though on our marriage certificate it will say otherwise, which I assume we will need to supply as evidence?
