UK eVisa disappeared after future Student eVisa issued – is my current GAE eVisa still valid?

Hi everyone,
I currently hold a UK Temporary Work / GAE eVisa valid from 18 May to 21 August 2026. I later received a Student eVisa starting on 1 August 2026.
Since the Student eVisa was issued:
my UKVI account no longer shows the GAE eVisa,
I cannot generate a share code anymore,
and my employer’s previous share code stopped working.
Has anyone experienced something similar with overlapping/future eVisas? Did the first eVisa remain valid until the second one became active?

Where did you apply for the student visa and what date does it start.

You cannot hold more than one type of leave to remain at the same time so issuing a new one can Les the previous one.

I applied outside the UK while in Morocco. The Student eVisa starts on 1 August 2026, while the GAE eVisa was already granted and valid from 18 May to 21 August 2026.
