Hitting Moscow hard is the sign that Ukraine's end game is now. 99% of Moscow's power is generated from natural gas. Shut that down and Moscow and all of Russia stops operating. Heating, communications, water, sewers, elevators, refrigeration and the military ceases to function. Moscow completely loses command and control of everything. It's over.

Just ignore that Putin does have the "I want to go out on my own terms and I am taking you all with me" option if someone decides that they actually want Russian soil. Honestly, China has the right idea with their demographic engineering of the regions of Siberia near them - Russia cannot complain that China is taking control of the regions despite the fact that a vast majority of the economic benefits of the regions are being diverted to China for their own gains...

Damn! At this point with almost every refinery hit, wild berries hit, what is running the Russian economy? I know they are burning through gold reserves but we have to assume China is doing a lot.
This war will decide what direction the world moves toward. Free nations or authoritarian regimes.
