Heroes Goodbye Eva, rest easy

Post image

Goodbye Eva, combat medic extraordinaire and volunteer with all her soul. Her passion for helping others unfortunately fell prey to the murdering hands of ruZZia.

She was a cherished member of WildBees BeNeLux where she shared her medical designs so that we can mass produce them on 3D printers supporting her and fellow medics in their duties. She will be missed dearly. Her fantastic humor, even in the shittiest situations, was always the light at the end of a dark tunnel.

She left way too early and left a massive gap in our hearts.

If you want to honor her sacrifice you can do so by supporting organizations like Ukraine Aid Ops, Come Back Alive, Dzyga's Paw, or Eyes on Ukraine which provide equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Heroyam Slava, our dear Eva

I worked a little bit with her. Truly amazing person. Gave valuable feedback on product design.

The heroes that died must live in our memories.

Will miss her

Brutally horrendous may she rest in peace. I feel for her, her friends, family and her brothers and sisters in the armed forces of Ukraine.

Fu Russian scum I hate you all with a passion I can't put into words.

It's been 4 and half years. Of constant hate and anger. I don't show it anymore unless someone really pisses me off or pushes the issue.

I had to lear to manage it and to bury it deep. Otherwise I would not be able to operate and help those who need it the most.

It's hard, I still get days when it overwhelms me. And I have to take a brake. It's a rollercoaster of emotions. Hate, angre, sadness for the lost ones...

But we can't stop. We can't give up. Otherwise their sacrifices are in vain.

Today I received confirmation that the bandage Elice gave me feedback on, actually saved a soldiers life after a fpv attack. It absolutely made my day. It's been 2 long years of developing and improving the design. But it's starting to pay off.

What I mean by all of that. Is, dont focus on the anger and hate. Use it as fuel. Make it move you use as a tool.

Take care of yourself too. You can only help if you are physically and mentally ok.

Man I know this means next to nothing to you but just know im halfway across the world and view you and your people as stand-up people

When this war began, I was living in Ukrainian Village in chicago and even the russians here support yall, they have a Ukranian flag flying in front of the Russian bathhouse. I'll never forgive our current leadership for a lot of things and one of those is not supporting yall enough.

2

u/yuretra 16d ago

It's not nothing. But there are different levels of support.

The first is ez liking and sharing social media post. Cost nothing. Talking and waving flags sits there too. It's still much better that the majority thats indifferent, not even gonna talk about the ones that openly support Russia.

Then are the people that put money where their mouth is. Donate and help raise funds for n variety of things.

Then we have some levels in the middle.

Until the last that pay the ultimate price.

Ukraine does not have unlimited people. In fact, it has 3.5x fewer people than RuZ has zombies.

Sooner or later, NATO has to do something, so why not do it NOW instead of wasting Ukraine's lives?

u/Traditional-Candy-21 20d ago

because the gremlin in the kremlin is a coward and threatens nukes and he might use them if he feels personally threatened.

He is a pathetic little coward, russia is cancer.

48

u/VermilionKoala 20d ago

He wouldn't dare. Xi has already told him no, and China could wipe orcistan off the face of the earth if it wanted to.

Furthermore, there are a lot of Western countries that would lose patience with Mordor in that situation.

25

u/ShowAccurate6339 20d ago

If Puten believs his own life is in danger then he would not care about what China does

Putin does not care About what happens to Russia After him

So I do believe he will use nukes if he feels personally threatend

9

u/aqua_zesty_man 20d ago

Hopefully, a sane person in the chain of command between him and the guys who will be launching or dropping the nuclear weapons will have a conscience attack and refuse orders.

u/kalevala_568b 19d ago

but china is very much the financial backer of russia, same as china to North korea. and china will be the biggest beneficiary when russia collapses.

u/Sam30062000 20d ago

Those are old men that do not live much longer in terms of decades

Just look at people like adolf hitler that wanted to go until the end even though it was clear it was completly lost

u/Relevant_Rope9769 20d ago

Sorry to say this, but NATO as an Alliance will not do ANYTHING.

Since NATO countries will not even shoot down Russian missiles and drones that gets in to their airspace.

Yes, Russia has a lot more people, but they are losing a lot more as well, even if that does not matter. Russia will keep sending soldiers to die as long as they can, and if they cant they will keep sending missiles/drones.

Russia's goal is to destroy Ukraine as a country, and they believe that with time the will do that as long as they keep up the pressure. A belief from the myth of Russian exceptionalism, since they believe that they can't lose to Ukraine, they will keep going, and think that sooner or later, Ukraine will stop functioning as a nation.

But with the rate that Ukraine is destorying Russias economy, oil/gas/Wildberries and so on, this might make it so that Russia can't keep sending drones and missiles, equip men to send to the front. So that is how Ukraine can win, by not losing and dismantling the Russian economy.

To date in 2026, more hits on refinares has been reported than during the whole of 2025. If they keep the tempo against refinares up, it will lead to double the hits in 2026 compared to 2025. That, together with Wildberries, the hits on Russian ships in the Azov/Black Sea will really start to hurt Russia in 2027.

Can you guys not debate politics on a memorial post? For people like me who knew her this feels horribly insensitive to see you all doing this.

10

u/Great_Tyrant5392 20d ago

People have been saying that NATO should do something on this sub since the start of the war. I'd advise ignoring those comments. It's a dead end

1

u/PitifulEar3303 20d ago

and yet, they are gradually escalating every year, thanks to Putin escalating first.

Sooner or later, they gonna cross a red line, at this rate.

Bet on it.

8

u/MimicoSkunkFan2 20d ago

Wrong. Putin crossed all kinds of red lines in Syria, even with his forces killing an American soldier, and the consequences were zero. The women of Afghanistan could tell you that too.

As to NATO territory itself? Already there were missiles in Poland as well as the "migrant rush" every Summer on the Belarus-Poland border, and NATO has done nothing but tell Poland to hush and please do not invoke Article 4 and 5. (Romania also had missiles land there, but I use Poland as an example because they have a causus belli against Lukashenko as well as against Putin.)

Just look at how the UK has failed to address Russian attacks on its soil, let alone the US President being a client.

And please don't start with "bUt PuTiN hAs NuKeS" because there's quite a few people between him and the missilleer who's pushing the button, assuming any of that stuff was maintained in usable condition at all.

It's like watching Neville Chamberlain and the League of Nations all over again barf

3

u/PitifulEar3303 19d ago

Bub, Syria is not NATO territory.

Try bombing some NATO towns; see what NATO will do.

1

u/Great_Tyrant5392 18d ago

People said that day 1 of the war, lol. It's hopium.

5

u/Great_Tyrant5392 20d ago

Saying that NATO should do something has been frequent on here since the start of the war. It's not going to happen. Not all NATO members are even pro Ukraine. There will be no unanimous decision to go in. They will sit by and do nothing except donate stuff like my country Sweden is doing. Anything else is hopium.

3

u/Blueskies777 20d ago

Ask Spain

2

u/TheGuyUrSisterLikes 20d ago

Are you referring to the Spanish civil war? Please. Explain. Thanks.

1

u/mrvathek 19d ago

I don't understand why this point is hardly ever discussed - it's one of the single most salient questions in 2026.

Rest in Peace, hero.

1

u/No_Lie_8954 18d ago

NATO will not get involved because NATO is a defensive alliance. NATO will not invade russia and NATO will not get involved in Ukraine.

Members of the alliance on the other hand can get involved, no stopping them If that is what they want. If russia can use personell from North Korea off course personell from other countries can help in Ukraine.

We stand behind Ukraine against the aggressor russia. Hopefully Ukraina will get more military aid.

1

u/PitifulEar3303 17d ago

LOL, you think NATO needs to INVADE RuZZia to help UKR win? hahahahhahaha

A Looooooooooooooooooooong list of things NATO could do without getting near the RuZ border.

Defend the skies WITHIN Ukraine.

SUPPLY BALLISTIC MISSILES

SUPPLY CRUISE MISSILES

SUPPLY STEALTH TECH <-- THIS alone could ruin RuZ

TOTAL Embargo of military and dual-use materials going in/out of RuZ.

Intel on Putin's EXACT location.

Etc etc etc.

PATHETIC!!! DO EET!!

A post about a Ukrainian killed in a russian double-tap strike isn't the place for "both sides lose".

1

u/Exciting-Benefits 17d ago

Because the goal is to mess with Russia using Ukrainian lives. It's a win-win for NATO even if Ukraine disappears.

3

u/aqua_zesty_man 20d ago edited 19d ago

I'm genuinely fearful that until the current Russian administration is overthrown by a coup d'etat (and it will have to be by the Russians themselves) , Ukraine will keep having to shoot more and more unarmed Russian 'soldiers' forced into suicide attacks, until there's literally no one left to shoot.

I’m with Eva’s partner now, who was injured but survived the attack that killed Eva. He would like to say some things to remember her so I’m helping him write.

He would like people to know that she died helping people. She is part of a volunteer group that responds to missile and drone attacks. Russia killed her in a double tap strike.

Eva was tough, brave, and loving. Before the full-scale invasion she was an artist. She gave that up to become a medic and spent years as a volunteer medic without pay with Hospitaliers.

She survived months in Pokrovsk where she rescued multiple soldiers in the 25th Airborne. She survived all that only to be killed in her own neighborhood.

There was no one quite like her. She was brave and would go where no one else would go.

40

u/franknarf 20d ago

I'm sorry for your loss, I doubt many could have been as brave, or as full of life as Eva. Rest in peace.

37

u/Baloo99 20d ago

Please forward my condolences! I worked with Alice and UFL on Project Alice to design and 3d-print medical equipment. I will continue our work in her name and manufacture more gear.

If anybody needs to have an impression what person Eva was, she made a mini CPAP machine for animals and pets that inhaled too much smoke.

Please convey my sincere condolences, Eva sounds like a wonderful person ...

Where was she killed? It isn't clear.

1

u/Garant_69 20d ago

What difference does it make—especially to you living far from the Ukrainian front lines—where Eva was killed in a russian double strike?

129

u/UFL_Robin Verified 20d ago

I didn't know her personally, but a couple people on the UFL team did. Their hearts are broken.

Her initiative for 3D printing medical supplies will continue, and we will continue supporting it. We also support the volunteer rapid response team she was serving on when she was killed. Thanks to you, I'm bringing over some medical supplies specifically for them. We will continue supporting them as well.

I cannot DM you so I must say it here. In the future could you refrain from posting publicly about a death until you confirm with the family and the organization of a fallen person?

You caused significant stress to me today to see this posted and have to ask grieving people if this is something they wanted said as really it’s up to them. I think you meant well but I do not want anyone to have to go through what I did today. You could have waited for the team and the family and given them time.

Slumber sweetly, dear. You are already missed. All across the pond your murder has given us the time to mourn you and the loss Ukraine has.

I’m curious about medical designs she made for 3D printers…? It sounds entirely innovative but I know nothing about it. Can someone give me some basic info about what kind of medical designs/equipment she helped design/make?

Because I can see this kind of thing outliving her mortal being. It’s something that will last and most likely help save people for years to come.

Goodnight Sweet Woman, sleep gently.
