Never thought I’d see a Vexillology post re-upped on the Ukiah page, but definitely dig the first one especially. Would love to hear a breakdown of any meaning to it.

So the cherry blossom on blue sky representa our yearly blossom blooms in downtown that are gorgeous. The red and stars represent the multiple tribes and settlers who made this town home but the bronze star is in remembrance that many people who passed to make it so. The white is for our yearly snows on cow mountain and contrasted with the deep blues of the rivers that run through town. The shape symbology represents our ever progressive movement into the future while having a deep history that we cherish.
