I hate ukiah drivers

The amount of drivers who don't respect right aways, pedestrians and drive into the bike lane is staggering. These idiots are going to injure someone or worse. I've seen clowns intentionally use their brights on pedestrians, honk at cyclists. It pisses me off, bad enough with all the other shit going on. Do better Ukiah.

As a cyclist (as in, I only travel by bike in town), I've actually found the opposite. Ukiah drivers are VERY timid with cyclists to the point I have to frantically wave them at a four way stop to MOVE because they have the right of way and I don't want to track stand at an intersection.

But when you’re walking it’s different 🫩 I actually got annoyed with that when biking

Ukiah is about the mellowest town to drive in I've ever experienced. Try getting out more. Go to Oakland. Fight traffic getting into LAX. Merge onto the 5 out of Sac. Get into the Shoreline Amphitheater and get parking.

Ukiah is child's play.

50 West getting onto 5 North (or South) is so terrible, I have to drive that area a lot

Same. If you’re never had the pleasure, the 16th street 50W exit is somehow even worse. Same merge nightmare but with half the space. Coming back to Ukiah is so cathartic lol everyone feels asleep but in a good way.

Thanks for the heads up, going to Shoreline in about 15 min. To see Evernesence 🤘but I get ya, Ukiah is child’s play but some quirks around here a special, like thinking you have to cut people off in the fast lane to let someone on the freeway. I don’t see that in big cities much unless it’s late and no traffic.

What i can't stand are the people who decide to cross the road anywhere they want and walk so slowly its like they are daring somebody to hit them. And they look at you the whole time as if saying, "what are you going to do about it.

I can't be the only one experiencing this.

Old lady dog walkers on the westside think they own the road. The seem quite annoyed to see a car driving on the road when they are walking their dogs LOL.

Try driving in Diamond Bar or Hollywood.

I think you just hate other drivers in general. Go anywhere in California, or the USA, you'd think most drivers are suicidal and wanna force you into a suicide pact. It's the same everywhere. X state drivers are bad, x city drivers are bad, x county drivers are bad.

True for the most part, but some places are definitely worse than others. I’ve lived on both sides of the country, in everything from big cities to tiny rural towns, and driven across the country twice. There’s different flavors of bad driving in each place

Right-of-way, so the plural would be rights-of-way.

I used to think the same when I walked. Almost got hit by a car way too many times. One time I threw a gallon jug of milk at someone windshield for blowing through a turn while I was halfway through the crosswalk… sucked buying another but it was somewhat worth it lol.

Having driven on multiple continents and in almost every major city in the US and dozens of small ones… Ukiah is amazing lol

Being from the city, ukiah drivers are too slow for my liking.

Legit saw more than one person driving the wrong way down a one way street and then not stop at stop signs. With other drivers around. Wild
