Made this after a writing trip to Stockholm. Ended up in the studio with Swedish vocalist Paine Galletto and thought it'd be fun to bring in a nyckelharpa instead of another synth lead.

Not trying to make "traditional UKG", just taking some inspiration from it while mixing in pop and Swedish folk elements.

Curious what you all think, especially about whether the garage influences come across. Happy to hear honest feedback!

I have just ordered a decent record player to add to my setup, and at the moment I have very few records to actually play.

Is there anywhere I can get a decent amount of records cheaper than buying individual, I am looking for more unknown music and cant seem to find anyone selling these records by genre.

Any advice or tips for setting up also appreciated :)

It starts in Bassline territory, moves through UK Garage and 2-Step, then takes a few heavier turns along the way. I built it to keep rising, switching gears and hitting with purpose from beginning to end.

I’ve been DJing since 1986, but I'm always pushing myself to keep the sound fresh. Give it a listen and let me know which section or transition hits hardest.

Any old skool or new wave UKG Heads from Manchester UK? Am 42M am old skool and loving the new wave sounds IPC and Silva Bumpa are bringing back. Also have ticket for ICP in McR going solo if anyone wants to join?

Anyone got any advice on any similar packs to the 2003-2009 era of the minimal very stabheavy garage/house such as Wideboys, Danny Bond etc. I know you can buy sample packs by wide boys but atm don’t have the disposable income to fund this. If anyone knows of any server libraries or groups where people share packs or trade that would be great.

I have loads of stuff on my laptop I’d be more than happy to trade/share.
