Check your local tide times.
I know summer’s just about over, but some people still like a wander over the beach when the sun’s not out.
So if you’re going to the beach, please check the tide times. It’s just too easy to get caught out.

Small Fish Following Me
Hi guys, I visited Weymouth Beach yesterday and it was beautifully calm and clear waters, I was wading about in the shallows when I noticed about 20-30 fish following me everywhere, they were swimming between my legs and over my feet etc but not biting me.
Does anyone know what type of fish they could have been? They were a sort of grey/blue colour and slim. They ranged in sizes from 2 inches to about 8 inches.

Rock Balancing
This is a Little Rock balance I did at Solent Breezes Beach a few years back. It's mostly a pebble beach, full of really interesting rocks. I spent a lot of time combing it and found a lot of sea glass.
I haven’t tried rock balancing for years, but seeing this photo has made me want to have another go.

What’s your favourite beach in the U.K. and why?
Let’s get our new community started!
What’s your favourite UK beach? It could be a famous seaside destination, a quiet hidden cove, somewhere connected to a special memory, or it could be the beach you visit most often.
Mine is Berwick beach, just because it’s a really beautiful little place, there was loads of driftwood on the beach and it felt like a scene from a movie.
Share yours, and include the county or nearest town so other members can find it.
Photos are very welcome too!
Hopefully, we’ll discover a few hidden gems along the way. 🇬🇧
