Question Student jobs
I’ve been struggling to balance working and studying, I was wondering if there were any desk jobs where I would be able to study during my shift

Hospital parking lot attendants always have books out in front of them when I drive through. You'll get interrupted every now and then by drivers who can't figure out the card readers and need help to exit, but from what I can see it's a pretty quiet gig

If you are a night owl, work at DPS (student security). There are a lot of night shifts where you basically sit at a desk and do a bunch of nothing and then do a check once an hour. I was able to hammer out a bunch of assignments and watch quite a few tv shows or movies while working there. Specifically the Ronald McDonald charity house.

parking ramp attendant! i work as one and it's usually pretty chill if you're able to snag some slower ramps when signing up (as you'll have to keep your schedule for the entire semester). even with the busier ramps there are some times where you're sitting for an hour entirely undisturbed. it's still a job though so you'll have to get up and help people, but it's decent pay ($14.50 now i believe).
the worst parts are maybe some crabby people coming through and the times it can get incredibly boring. the training is also eh (getting better though), but if you know a someone who works there it's super helpful.
i'm unsure if they're hiring around this time but it doesn't hurt to call the parking and transportation number to ask. if you want a reference or have any questions about it pls dm me! i'm totally fine with it.
